Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus
What happens when you make a film based on a YouTube hit? You get the latest straight-to-DVD movie from The Asylum – “Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus”!
The Asylum is a movie studio that has made its name by making cheap versions of current movies and releasing them before the famous versions. They churn out ‘Mockmusters’.
You may have heard of “Snakes on a Train“, an Asylum feature that dared to be released on DVD a day before the much more famous “Snakes on a Plane“. This is what The Asylum does. They second guess movie plots to bring us such wonders as “Transmorphers” and “Sunday School Musical“.

Ladies and gentlemen, it came out a month ago, but here’s the trailer for you now – “Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus”.
