Kirk battles the Lizard man!
Here’s a lovely little fight scene from the original series of ‘Star Trek‘ for you to get your chops round.
Badly choreographed, slow and laboured, this is even better than the fight scene in ‘The Black Scorpion‘.
Star Trek fans will be pleased by this video, not only because it features Kirk’s infamous ‘Kirk chop’, but because of the location – filmed at Vasquez Rocks, this is a classic location for Star Trek TOS away parties.
Here it is – one of the worst fight scenes ever!
Special mention goes to the 50 second mark, where it appears that they’re about to kiss. What’s your favourite part of this awful, awful fight scene?
They weren’t even trying by season 3, were they?
That’s actually a very good point.
Perhaps nobody cared about what it looked like.
Maybe you get that far into a production and everybody’s just drunk all the time.
Yeah, they looked like they were just going through the motions, sad when relationships get to that point!
The lizard later had Kirk’s child aborted.
